What Change Detection Tracks
After each scan, the Pro plugin compares the current results against the previous scan and calculates: the number of new issues introduced, the number of issues that no longer appear (resolved organically), and the net change in total issue count. This gives you immediate visibility into whether your site’s accessibility is improving or regressing.
Where Change Data Appears
Change detection results appear in the scan completion summary and on the Dashboard widget. Positive changes (fewer issues) are highlighted in green, and regressions (more issues) are highlighted in red.
Use Cases
Change detection is particularly valuable after deploying theme updates, plugin updates, or content changes. Run a scan before and after the deployment to identify any accessibility regressions introduced by the change. With scheduled scans, this monitoring happens automatically.
