What Edit & Locate Does
Edit & Locate adds an Edit button to each issue card in the scan results. Clicking it opens the WordPress block editor for the page where the issue was found, with the problematic element highlighted. This eliminates the manual process of searching through your content to find the element that needs fixing.
How It Works
During scanning, the Pro plugin stores locator data for each issue — a mapping of the element’s position to the WordPress post and block structure. When you click Edit, the plugin uses this data to open the correct post editor and scroll to the relevant block.
Supported Content Types
Edit & Locate works with Posts, Pages, and any custom post type that uses the WordPress block editor (Gutenberg). Content in the Classic Editor is also supported — the editor opens to the post, though precise element highlighting is limited to the block editor.
