Full Scan Walkthrough

Navigate to Crucible Scan → Scan to see the scan page. Published content from your selected post types is listed with checkboxes. Select the pages you want to analyze and click Start Scan.

During the scan, a modal shows progress in real time including the page counter, current URL, and a progress bar. Each page is fetched, analyzed against 15 WCAG tests, and results are stored in the database.

What Gets Scanned

Crucible Scan discovers pages based on the post types enabled in Settings. By default, Posts and Pages are included. You can add custom post types. Only published content is included — drafts, private pages, and trashed items are excluded.

How Long Scans Take

Each page typically takes 2 to 5 seconds. A 10-page scan completes in approximately 30 to 50 seconds. Larger scans of 100+ pages may take several minutes.
